Mouth/Throat: Use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash at least once a day, and gargle with it.  This prevents the cold infection from getting to your throat.  If you already have a sore throat, this will clear it pretty quickly.  Just gargle frequently for a day and it should go away, depending on the severity of the infection.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e2. Ear Canals: Use hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip in your ears every day, typically after a shower.  This prevents the cold infection from getting into your ear canals.  During the first applications there might be a lot of fizzing, but after further applications you will notice that there is nothing in your ears to kill anymore.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eHere are some other ideas that I have had but haven\u0026#39;t done very much testing with yet.  (It\u0026#39;s hard to perform a good test when there are very little symptoms due to #1 and #2.)\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e3. Nose/Sinus:  I\u0026#39;ve used a nasal inhaler filled with a .75% solution (3% diluted twice with water) of hydrogen peroxide.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e4.
